Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator was arrested without incident on Saturday at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, TMZ first reported. The arrest was the result of an Austin Police Department warrant accusing Tyler of inciting a riot during his Thursday South by Southwest show. According to CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, Tyler encouraged people outside the gates of the Scoot Inn to “push through!” Police claim that while the crowd was initially “hesitant,” a second “Y’all push through, come on!” from Tyler began a “stampede through employees blocking the way,” creating what witnesses described as a “riot-like situation with trampling and punching.” Though Tyler reportedly apologized to the stomped-on employees, he also managed to curse at them before leaving the stage, because that’s who he is. He’s being held on $25,000 bail.
