The 2023 WWE Draft kicked off with a bang this year. The first pick of the night went to SmackDown, and they picked Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman. Then the second pick of the 2023 WWE Draft came around, and that came with a bit of a sing-along.

Triple H was out there to announce the first round draft picks for the 2023 WWE Draft. When he called Cody’s name, they started playing his Kingdom entrance music, but they faded out right before fans’ favorite part.
Triple H noticed that fans were anticipating a big “WOAHH!” So, as Chief Content Officer, he called an audible and encouraged fans to give him their best “WOAHH!” anyway.
What followed was an auible call, but it was the right one. Triple H told fans to go ahead and give him a “WOAHH!” and that’s exactly what they did. Obviously, Triple H got a kick out of being there for that “WOAHH” instead of behind the scenes. After all, Cody Rhodes gets to head that first-hand on a regular basis.
Interestingly enough, that “WOAHH” is actually a nod that Downstrait put in the song as a tribute to Cody Rhodes’ old WWE entrance music.
WWE fans know what they like, and they like to sing along to Cody Rhodes’ WWE entrance music. It’s a good thing Vince McMahon let Cody keep that song when he made the jump from AEW.
What’s your take on Cody Rhodes’ entrance music? Do you think he has the best sing-along part in any entrance going today? Sound off in the comments!
