Top WWE salaries for last year were leaked, but Baron Corbin’s name wasn’t in the top ten. According to Players Bios, his annual salary is $285,000. It is also estimated that Corbin has a net worth of $2 million.
Corbin might be going through a tough time on WWE television when it comes to his finances, but that isn’t the case at all. This is just a storyline, because Vince McMahon is paying him very well. He might even get new name out of the deal.
We can’t forget that Baron Corbin, as Thomas Pestock, played for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. He signed with the Colts after remaining undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. Then he was released by the Colts a few months later, but they re-signed him six days after that. Then he was released again a few weeks later. He then signed a futures contract with the Arizona Cardinals in 2010, but it was reported that he threw uppercuts during team scuffle during training camp. Corbin was later released on September 3rd, but he was signed again in January, 2011 only to be released again in September, 2011. That is the road which led him to WWE.
In the past few weeks Corbin has been really playing up the “I’m broke” angle, even selling $40,000 Rolex watch to Dolph Ziggler for $10,000. Fans don’t have to really worry about Corbin being out of luck, because it’s all part of the show.
