If you’ve finished GTA 5’s main story mode, you might be thinking about what to do after seeing one of its three endings. This game is one of the ones with the most information, which is a good thing.
There is a lot to talk about in the sections below. So many, in fact, that the five ideas below are just a drop in the bucket when it comes to what you can do.
Still, these five games will have a lot of material that can easily keep a player busy for hours. If you want to keep playing GTA 5 after you’ve finished the main story mode, there’s a lot of extra stuff to do.
Have you finished the main story mode of GTA 5? Try out these five things.
1) Finish All Strangers and Freaks Plus Random Events
GTA 5 has dozens of Strangers and Freaks tasks that you don’t have to do. Franklin can, for example, help a paparazzi take some questionable photos or have Trevor Philips help some tourists who are obsessed with celebrities get some souvenirs.
Random Events are like Strangers and Freaks in that they are optional material, but they tend to be much shorter. Random Events include getting shocked by someone near an abandoned car and waking up in your underwear near an oncoming train.
2) Grind for All Their Worth
In GTA 5, you can own 16 different places. The player only gets the Vanilla Unicorn for free. To get the other 15 businesses, the player has to pay money. One of these is the insanely expensive $150,000,000 Los Santos Golf Club.
You decide how you’ll get that money. You can get a passive income from owning other businesses, but that’s not the only way to get rich. Those who were smart and saved the optional Lester’s Assassinations tasks can do them for extra cash and easily buy all properties by manipulating the stock market.
3) Misuse Cheat Codes
Using trick codes is a fun thing to do in Grand Theft Auto games. GTA 5 might not have a lot of things to do, but it makes up for that by having some great things to do. Among the good ideas are:
- Invincibility: 1-999-724-654-5537
- Explosive Melee Attacks: 1-999-468-42637
- Super Jump: 1-999-467-8648
- Skyfall: 1-999-759-3255
- Slow Motion: 1-999-756-966
Note that the ideas above are for the phone cheats that are available starting with the Enhanced Edition. There are also button combos for consoles and PCs that work if you’d rather use those.
4) Play with the “Director Mode”
This fun part of the game lets you play as a different character model than the standard Franklin, Michael, or Trevor Philips. You could be anything from a crow to a woman from the Lost MC who rides a bike. In the same way, the time of day and weather can be changed however the player wants.
You can choose up to ten stars to put on the shortlist. This game mode can be helpful if you want to take some cool pictures as you move around Los Santos.
5) Give GTA Online or GTA RP a Try
People who own GTA 5 can always play Grand Theft Auto Online. So, it makes sense to say that players who finish the single-player story mode might want to try the group game mode. It has all the same vehicles and gameplay, but it also has material from the past few years, such as:
- The businesses
- Several new missions and heists
- PvP against other players
In a similar vein, PC players who like roleplaying can play on one of the thousands of GTA RP servers. Many people like these sites, especially since they can keep you busy for hundreds of hours and have no end.
